ENGINEER introduced at CIPA conference
The ENGINEER project was presented today at the CIPA2023 Symposium ("Documenting, Understanding, Preserving Cultural Heritage: Humanities and Digital technologies for Shaping the Future") that took place in Florence, Italy (https://www.cipa2023florence.org). The ENGINEER project is presented at a national info day on Horizon Europe organised by the Research and Innovation Foundation with a theme “Widening participation & strengthening the era - work programme 2023-24 available funding opportunities”. The primary aim of the event is to effectively disseminate information to potential applicants about the currently available funding opportunities of the ‘Widening Participation & Strengthening the European Research Area (ERA)’ Work Programme 2023-24 under Horizon Europe.

ENGINEER project presented at FPCUP Summer School in Rome
Dr Kyriakos Themistocleous from ECoE introduced the ENGINEER project at the FPCUP Summer-School and Workshop Copernicus for Cultural Heritage organized by ISPRA in Rome. About FPCUP: The EU-funded project started in July 2018. It aims at increasing the number of Copernicus users and applications derived from Copernicus data or products by different actions. Hands on experience with the data collected in the field
CUT members had the opportunity to work on the data collected the day before at the Tombs of the Kings. Laser scanner registration and cleaning the noise, orthophoto production of the low altitude cameras, GNSS Rinex correction, cross-sections in a CAD environment and many more!
