Exploring the marine cultural resources of Cyprus

A very interesting article published at Phileleftheros newspaper regarding the exploration of marine cultural resources of Cyprus. The article sumamarises the activities carried out during the Cyprus Regional Development Project (CRDP) project funded by the Honor Frost Foundation (HFF).  Archaeological surveys were carried out during two training seminars organized by the CRDP, as announced by the Department of Antiquities. Collaboration also exists with other researchers in Cyprus, but also with collaborators from the wider HFF region (Egypt and Lebanon). All partners participate in the delivery of training seminars and the organization of field research in order to achieve regional capacity building for researchers in the Eastern Mediterranean. The participants in these seminars are mainly marine archaeologists, photographers, geologists and marine biologists from Cyprus, Egypt, Greece and Lebanon. During the CRDP members of the ENGINEER project from the CUT have participated in the training events. Read the article in Greek here.
