Internal Meeting

Today, the annual meeting of the ENGINEER project was held at Cyprus University of Technology, bringing together project members to discuss upcoming deliverables, the coordination of ongoing tasks, and preparations for the upcoming Summer School. The meeting focused on aligning efforts for the next phases of the project, ensuring smooth progress, and strengthening collaboration among partners.

Marinos Vlachos Presents His PhD Dissertation

Congratulations to Marinos Vlachos on the successful presentation of his PhD dissertation on "Self-Adaptive Colour Calibration of Deep Underwater Images Using FNN and SfM-MVS-Generated Depth Maps" on March 20, 2025. This remarkable achievement reflects his dedication and innovative research in underwater imaging. A special acknowledgment to Professor Dimitrios Skarlados, who supervised and guided Marinos throughout this journey. Wishing him continued success in his academic and professional career!

ENGINEER Monthly Meeting

On March 19, 2025, the ENGINEER project team held its monthly meeting to discuss the upcoming activities and remaining tasks as the project nears its final stages. Key topics included the preparations for the last Summer School, the organization of the final project meeting, and the completion of the required reports. The discussion focused on ensuring that all deliverables are met on time while maximizing the impact of the project's outcomes.

ENGINEER Project at RSCy 2025

The ENGINEER project participated in RSCy 2025, held in Paphos, Cyprus, from March 17 to 19, 2025. As part of the conference, a specialized workshop titled "An Innovation Workshop for Young Researchers: Commercializing Cultural Heritage in Cyprus" took place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. The workshop was led by Kyriacos Themistocleous, with support from Mahmoud Mardini, providing valuable insights into the intersection of cultural heritage and commercialization opportunities for young researchers.

The virtual training session on Research Management Skills – Financial Aspects (WP3) as a part of the ENGINEER project, organized by Universidade de Aveiro (UAveiro) on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (GMT). This session focused on the financial management of research projects, providing valuable insights into budget preparation, financial reporting, and internal collaboration.
