Nicolas Melillos represented the ENGINEER project with a poster presentation in Session 03 of the international conference, focusing on “Innovating Archaeological Exploration through AI and Remote Sensing.”

The poster, titled “Review of AI-Driven Chatbot Solutions for Remote Sensing in Archaeology,” was prepared in the framework of the ENGINEER and DEPLOYED projects. The contribution offered a comprehensive overview of how conversational AI technologies such as chatbots are increasingly being integrated into archaeological remote sensing workflows to improve data accessibility, user interaction, and operational efficiency.

This work reflects the ongoing efforts of the ENGINEER project to explore innovative applications of artificial intelligence and geoinformatics in the service of digital cultural heritage and archaeological research.
