Day 4 – ENGINEER Summer School 3: “Information Management Systems for Cultural Heritage”

The fourth and final day of the ENGINEER Summer School 3: “Information Management Systems for Cultural Heritage” took place on Friday, 13th of June 2025, at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) premises in Paphos. Coordinated by Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), the day focused on immersive technologies, geomatics, and a final collaborative wrap-up of the project’s key outputs and directions.

The day began with a session led by Arch. Li Li, PhD Candidate at POLIMI, who presented on the role of immersive realities in cultural heritage education. Participants engaged in a hands-on activity to explore how virtual environments and XR technologies can enhance understanding and interaction with historic content.
