ENGINEER Project Showcased at CIPA 2025 Symposium in Seoul
Dr. Dimitrios Skarlatos, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Cyprus University of Technology and member of the ENGINEER project team, actively participated in the 30th CIPA 2025 Symposium, titled “Heritage Conservation from Bits: From Digital Documentation to Data-driven Heritage Conservation”, which took place from 25–29 August 2025 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
During the symposium, Dr. Skarlatos presented the ENGINEER project, showcasing its innovative contributions to digital heritage documentation and conservation. In addition to his presentation, he served as a session chair, chaired the AI sessions, and contributed as an Executive Committee member as Commission Chair for Technologies for Cultural Heritage Geometric Documentation, reinforcing his role in shaping the academic and professional dialogue of the event.
His involvement highlighted both the international recognition of the ENGINEER project and the Cyprus University of Technology’s active role in advancing research and collaboration in heritage conservation through cutting-edge digital technologies.
