Successful Completion of the ENGINEER Project

Today marks the successful completion of the ENGINEER project, a key initiative that aimed to enhance the research and innovation potential of the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). Through the Twinning programme, the project has significantly advanced inter-departmental research activities in Cultural Heritage, aligned with Cyprus’ Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3CY). By collaborating with leading European institutions—the Polytechnic University of Milan (POLIMI), the University of Aveiro (UAVEIRO), and University College London (UCL)—as well as the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence (ECoE), ENGINEER fostered impactful training activities, mobility actions, workshops, summer schools, and knowledge-transfer events. We extend our sincere thanks to all partners and participants whose contributions made this effort a success, supporting the vision of safeguarding, promoting, and innovating in the field of Cultural Heritage for Cyprus and beyond.
