Hands-on Session on Collaborative Mapping
In this interactive session, Quang Huy Nguyen, a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Milano, will guide participants through collaborative mapping techniques. This hands-on activity will emphasize the importance of public participation in mapping efforts, as well as how open geo-data can be used to enhance collaboration among stakeholders in urban planning and environmental management.
Lecture Part II: Cubesats in Earth Observation for Sustainable Cities and Communities
This lecture will focus on the role of CubeSats, small satellites designed for Earth observation, in supporting sustainable urban development and communities. Prof. Brovelli will explore how these technologies provide affordable, high-resolution data critical for monitoring urban expansion, environmental changes, and resource management.
