ENGINEER @ Workshop on “Data Science and Applications” of the European University of Technology – EUt+
Within the frame of the next EUt+ week, the workshop on "Data Science and Applications" is organized. This workshop is a good opportunity to foster further the collaboration within the EUt+ Data Science Lab. Argyro Argyrou presented the overall methodology and approach of her work under the work entitled “A new role of low-altitude sensors for supporting archaeological research”.
ENGINEER @ 13th International Symposium on Digital Earth Earth intelligence to understand and protect our Living Planet
A joint work from the CUT team (Athos Agapiou, Vasiliki Lysandrou, Phaedon Kyriakidis, Stelios Hadjipetrou, Nicholas Kyrakides and Renos Votsis) was earlier today presented at the 13th International Symposium on Digital Earth Earth intelligence to understand and protect our Living Planet. The work was entitled as “European Ground Motion Service for built heritage: a case study from Cyprus”.
Evaluation Study on Excellent Science in the European Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation
ENGINEER project was part of the “Evaluation Study on Excellent Science in the European Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation". The study commissioned by Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) seeks to assess the relevance, effectiveness, coherence, efficiency and EU value-added of the Horizon Europe programmes. The findings from this study will feed into the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe (due by the end of 2024). This assignment is conducted by PPMI in cooperation withJune 2023
Meeting with EPIBOOST team for Dissemination and Exploitation
Earlier today a fruitful meeting has been taken place with the sister Twinning Project EPIBOOST. The focus of this meeting was to further discuss common practices used for ‘Disseminations and Exploitation’ actions adopted by Twinning projects funded under the Horizon Europe.
ENGINEER introduced at CIPA conference
The ENGINEER project was presented today at the CIPA2023 Symposium ("Documenting, Understanding, Preserving Cultural Heritage: Humanities and Digital technologies for Shaping the Future") that took place in Florence, Italy (https://www.cipa2023florence.org). The ENGINEER project is presented at a national info day on Horizon Europe organised by the Research and Innovation Foundation with a theme “Widening participation & strengthening the era - work programme 2023-24 available funding opportunities”. The primary aim of the event is to effectively disseminate information to potential applicants about the currently available funding opportunities of the ‘Widening Participation & Strengthening the European Research Area (ERA)’ Work Programme 2023-24 under Horizon Europe.

ENGINEER project presented at FPCUP Summer School in Rome
Dr Kyriakos Themistocleous from ECoE introduced the ENGINEER project at the FPCUP Summer-School and Workshop Copernicus for Cultural Heritage organized by ISPRA in Rome. About FPCUP: The EU-funded project started in July 2018. It aims at increasing the number of Copernicus users and applications derived from Copernicus data or products by different actions.
