ENGINEER project was presented by the coordinator of the project Dr Athos Agapiou at the Cyprus National Workshop "Satellite-based Services for Disaster Risk Management" organized at Hilton Hotel in Nicosia organised by Eurisy, Department of Electronic Communications and EUSPA. Virtual Lecture: “Launch a spin-off” (Industry & Knowledge Transfer actions)

The virtual lecture entitled “Launch a spin-off” of the ENGINEER Project has been successfully accomplished on May 16th (9:30-13:30 CET). The event makes part of a series of four virtual lectures in the framework of the Industry & Knowledge Transfer actions of the Project. The lecture has been hosted by the Politecnico di Milano, one of the advanced partners of the Project.

Publication @ Heritage: Interacting with the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Language Model ChatGPT: a Synopsis of Earth Observation and remote sensing in Archaeology

In this communication we aim to provide an overview of Earth observation and remote sensing in archaeology following a non-traditional literature review approach, that is, investigating recent developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and language models. Towards this direction, the generative pre-trained transformer (ChatGPT) language model was used to extract relevant information. Preparation meeting between UAVEIRO and CUT for the 2nd Workshop and the 3rd Short term staff exchange actions

Online meeting with the PI of UAVEIRO team Dr Alice Tavares to plan forthcoming activities between Portugal and Cyprus. Dr. Giuseppe Pace coordinator of the COST action Underground4Value was invited to the meeting by Dr. Tavares. Visits to Primary schools in Cyprus

Following invitation of the Research and Innovation Foundation to support the "Researchers in Schools" Program and with the occasion of the International Day For Monuments and Sites (Apr 18, 2023) and the International Earth Day (Apr 22, 2023), Dr. V.
