Research Project Meeting: WP6

CUT and ECoE meeting
A meeting was organised earlier today between CUT and ECoE members to discuss the format and the context of the ENGINEER brochure. The latest is expected to be drafter both electronically and in printed formats and will be circulated among the wider academic and non-academic communicate.
Communication with the Department of Antiquities for the needs of the 2nd summer school
The coordinator of the project has earlier today received the approval letter from the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus regarding the provision for accessing the archaeological site of Tombs of the Kings in Paphos, an UNESCO World Heritage site, for the needs of the second summer school of the ENGINEER project. CUT Internal Meeting for ENGINEER WP6
Earlier today, an internal hybrid meeting took place among ENGINEER members from CUT to deliberate on the initiation details of ENGINEER WP6 – Exploratory Research Project. Brief communication with the Department of Electronic Communications
A brief communication with an officer from the Department of Electronic Communications, of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy was held today. The coordinator of the project provided some details regarding the project’s activities. The Department of Electronic Communications will be regularly updated and invited to events of the project to foster local collaboration between the consortium and potential local stakeholders.

ENGINEER Poster at the DLR International Conference on Geoinformation Data, Processing and Applications – DLR GeoDPA 2024
Following an invitation from the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Stavros Patsalidis, a member of the EOCult Lab at CUT and the ENGINEER project, actively participated in the International Conference on Geoinformation Data, Processing, and Applications (GeoDPA) held from April 23rd to 25th, 2024, in Oldenburg, Germany. CUT Staff Exchange II at UCL for ENGINEER project
The third of the series of CUT Staff Exchanges (SE3) took place in UCL between 22-23 April 2024. During this 2-day event, CUT staff had the opportunity to take a tour of UCL laboratories and experience how the infrastructure operates.
