ENGINEER members support documentation of the Timios Stavros Byzantine Church in Pelendri village, an UNESCO World Heritage site
Today, ENGINEER members have visited the UNESCO World Heritage site of Timios Stavros Byzantine Church in Pelendri village, Limassol, to support the documentation of the monument through a series of advance surveying instruments. The documentation is part of the EUREKA3D Horizon Europe project, and the results can be further exploited by the ENGINEER project.

EURISY, Disaster Management Workshop
ENGINEER project was presented by the coordinator of the project Dr Athos Agapiou at the Cyprus National Workshop "Satellite-based Services for Disaster Risk Management" organized at Hilton Hotel in Nicosia organised by Eurisy, Department of Electronic Communications and EUSPA. Virtual Lecture: “Launch a spin-off” (Industry & Knowledge Transfer actions)
The virtual lecture entitled “Launch a spin-off” of the ENGINEER Project has been successfully accomplished on May 16th (9:30-13:30 CET). The event makes part of a series of four virtual lectures in the framework of the Industry & Knowledge Transfer actions of the Project. The lecture has been hosted by the Politecnico di Milano, one of the advanced partners of the Project.

In this communication we aim to provide an overview of Earth observation and remote sensing in archaeology following a non-traditional literature review approach, that is, investigating recent developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and language models. Preparation meeting between UAVEIRO and CUT for the 2nd Workshop and the 3rd Short term staff exchange actions
Online meeting with the PI of UAVEIRO team Dr Alice Tavares to plan forthcoming activities between Portugal and Cyprus. Following invitation of the Research and Innovation Foundation to support the "Researchers in Schools" Program and with the occasion of the International Day For Monuments and Sites (Apr 18, 2023) and the International Earth Day (Apr 22, 2023), Dr. V. Preparation meeting with POLIMI and CUT for the 1st Workshop and Summer School
A tele meeting with the PI of POLIMI team Dr. Branka Cuca was carried out today to discuss the details for the 1st Workshop and 1st Summer School that will take place in the beginning of June in Cyprus. Case study selection, instruments and overall methodology was discussed.
