UAVEIRO/UCL/POLIMI supports CONNECTING Infrastructure Proposal
The advance partners of the ENGINEER project, namely the UAVEIRO, UCL and POLIMI have provided a Letter of Support for the “Small Scale Research Infrastructures” proposal.Tele-meeting UCL / POLIMI for WP1 and KPIs
A tele-meeting between the advance partners UCL and POLIMI with the CUT members has been carried out in relation to the needs of WP1. Details for specific KPIs and other outcomes from the overall performance of the CUT labs participating in the ENGINEER project were discussed.
UAVEIRO/UCL/POLIMI supports UNITWIN Network
Following the discussions made during the kick-off meeting and the discussions made with the Holder of the UNESCO Chair on Digital Heritage, Prof. Marinos Ioannides during then 30th anniversary of the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme in Paris, the advance partners of the ENGINEER project have provided a Letter of Support for the creation of a UNITWIN Network on Education for Sustainable, Holistic, Digital Cultural Heritage Documentation. A short virtual meeting with the POLIMI team, leader of WP1 was carried out with the CUT members. Details and preliminary findings from the online questionnaire were presented. Future steps and analysis have been discussed for the deliverables D1.1 and D1.2.
Short-term staff exchange (SE)1, CUT team members visited Milano (WP4)
The first Short term staff Exchange (SE1) of CUT staff to POLIMI premises of ENGINEER project was held as a 3-day event in Milan and Lecco (Italy), hosted by POLIMI. On Day 1, Branka Cuca (local Principal Investigator) gave an introductory welcome, presenting the activities and logistics of all three days of the visit in more detail. The first expert visit (EV) meeting scheduled under WP1 took place on Wednesday, Nov 9th in Limassol (premises of the Crown Plaza Hotel) between CUT and POLIMI members. The meeting was linked to activities of WP1 and more specifically to Task 1.1 Baseline and opportunity assessment.
